What is an Endodontist?

Endodontists are dentists with at least two additional years of advanced specialty education in endodontic diagnosis and root canal treatment. With this added expertise, they limit their practice exclusively to endodontics. Endodontists are also experienced at finding the cause of oral and facial pain that has been difficult to diagnose. They offer state-of-the-art endodontic care and are best able to provide root canal treatment comfortably and predictably.
